"A gay artist based in Los Angeles, AXEL's work could be seen across the world. With shows in Seattle, Amsterdam, Berlin, London, NYC, Los Angeles, Chicago and Phoenix. Having worked with various publications, AXEL's form of erotica was published in magazines such as MEN, FreshMEN, Unzipped, Red Tails, and Black Inches among others. He also worked as the staff illustrator for INSTIGATOR magazine. The artist was one of three finalists in the 2003 International Erotic Art Awards in London. He has won the Pantheon of Leather Northwest Regional Award 2007, Leather Emerald Award 2007, and Best of Show CLAW 2007. AXEL has been published in several homoerotic art anthology books such as STROKE and STRIPPED.
